“Right now, I'm really excited to eat sushi with my family. The most I can eat is 19 plates (TN: One holds 2 btw, or somewhere around there btw!) But I don't like eating different types of sushi because the plate colors get mixed up, and I don't like getting them all mixed up, so I eat them in order. I like flatfish.” (Morimoto)



Nakajima Yuto

1993 August 10th. Born Tokyo. Type A blood. What do you want to tell us?

“ I got a dog! It's a miniature dachshund, and it's chocolate-colored, but basically, it's brown but the feet are white, and he wears socks! It's soooo cute~! He thinks I'm his parent so he climbs onto my back and starts biting onto my ears!” (Nakjima)



Name

What's the reason for your name?

“My brother, whose five years older than me, was obsessed with this character called “Daiki” so he begged my mom to name me “Daiki.” (Arioka)

“I really don't know. Aren't there a lot of people like that?” (Takaki)

“ 'Kei' means obedient. Also, that word isn't used in names that often, so I think my parents thought they would use it.” (Inoo)

“My parents told me that when I was born, my head was shining, so they named me “Hikaru,” but the real reason is because they want me to shine, a really simple reason if you think about it.” (Yaotome)

“I think my grandparents from my mom's side named me. They named my siblings a similar name too.” (Yabu)



Okamoto Keito

1993 April 1st. Born Tokyo. Type O Blood. What do you want to tell us?

“One time, I went to the same music store for six days in a row! Since I went there everyday, the staff members remembered me (laughs.) Whenever I go, I look at all different stuff. I recently bought a metronome and a bandscore. I'm using it very carefully!” (Okamoto)

“My toy poodle, Qoo, is really stupid, but that stupidness is really cute.” (Yamda)

“There are a lot of words and phrases that are in the song that I rarely use. “I want to snatch you away,” I never say that, right (laughs)? But saying that is like a key point of the song.” (Yabu)



Strawberry

Yamada loves strawberries.

“The bright redness is the strong point, and there's also different kinds of strawberries, hence all different kinds of flavors. You can also eat is really quickly. I usually eat is as it is, but using strawberry milk, you can make a sherbert. If you pour milk over it, and put crushed strawberries in it, it's seriously amazingly good!” (Yamada)



Takaki Yuya

1990 March 26th. Born Osaka. Type O Blood. What do you want to tell us?

“Lately, I've been practicing this one instrument. I'll practice it for maybe 3 hours everyday. I finally was able to play “Oretachi no Seishunn.” What is that instrument? I can't tell you yet. I'll tell you when I can seriously play it.” (Takaki)



Tu-yu

Yaotome is in this unit.

“ We were laughing over the fact about how we said, “I never knew “Tu -> Yu” could do such a serious thing on the “Sobaniiruyo” PV.”” But when we sang that song in front of the fans, some started crying, and we were all really moved.” (Yaotome)

“It was really fun watching the games. At my school, for gym, we had a 'volleyball rule test,' but thanks to all the matches I was watching, I got a 100 on that!” (Okamoto)

“ At first, all I was thinking about was the concert. Whenever I think about it, I would write it down on a notebook right before I go to sleep, but I don't know what ot write down. But the next day, when I look at what I attemped to write down, I think to myself, “Wow, I worked hard!” (Yaotome)

“At first, I read a lot of books. Any genre! Love, mystery, sports. Also, I read essays. The first one I read was Sakura Momoko-san's essays. It was really easy to read and really funny.” (Yabu)



Yamada Ryosuke

“ For a drama, I got to ride on a helicopter, horse, patrol car, and a sidecar. The horse was so cute, and when I met it for the last time, I gave it a carrot, it would lick my hand all over, but that was really cute.” (Yamada)

What makes you happy?

“Being with my family, and being with the members. That goes the same for the fans!” (Yamada)

“I was really bad with mayonnaise, but I'm able to eat it now. Once, in the morning, I was really hungry, and there was only a sandwich with mayonnaise in it. But I was really hungry, so I thought, “Why not?” so I tried it, and I was completely fine.” (Arioka)

When I get hungry and I want to eat now, I can't really find a good shop to eat, and I get so frustruated. But when I'm full, and I find a random shop, it turns out that it's a really good shop! Why does it turn out this way (laughs)? (Chinen)



Drama

In the year 08, Yamada, Nakajima, Chinen, and Arioka featured in, “Scarp Teacher,” Yamada also featured in, “One Pound Gospel”, “Furuhata Chuugakusei,” and Takaki featured in, 'Gokusen,”

“Scrap Teacher” was really fun to work with, and in “Furuhata~” I found a lot more about myself that I thought. Although I was really nervous about starring in the same drama, “One pound~,” with my senapi Kamenashikun, he was really nice. I think it'll be really fun if all 10 of the members starred in a drama where we all had our eyes on one girl. (Yamada)



Dreams Come True

On may 21st, 2008, your second single came out. What was your feelings then?
“It was volleyball's last world-class competition! We had to memorize a lot of different routines, because every day we had a different dance formation. At the competition, Japan got into the Olympics. I was really moved!” (Okamoto)



Drum

Nakajima is good at the drums.

“I don't really have time to practice these days, but when my stress level goes up, and I play the drums, I feel much more refreshed.” (Nakajima)



Enjoy

What activities do you do that you like?

“At a drama's location. It's really fun to be able to act someone who you're not. In “Scarp Teacher,” there were a lot of scenes where the teacher rebelled (laugh)” (Arioka)



Football (Soccer)

Yamada is good at soccer.

“There are exceptionally a lot of people that are amazing on the team and I felt a little bit imitated. I'm completely normal at soccer.” (Yamda)



Gyoza (TN: like dumplings)

Chinen's favorite food is gyoza

“Gyoza's legit amazing. I sometimes eat it in restaurants, but the ones at home is the best. The ones that my mom makes, with all its different fillings are the best. For me, it's gyoza= my mom's flavor.” (Chinen)



Guitar

Yabu is good at the guitar

“I started when I was in 8th grade. It's a yearned road that man makes.” (Yabu)

“I've been asked that a lot, and all the answers are the same; “Shine like a rainbow.” Our rainbow has 10 colors, not 7. I want all 10 of us to use our different personalities to make the 10 colors shine this year.” (Yamda)

“It's only been a year since our debut, so I want to do a lot of things this year! I want to work my hardest. To the other members: Don't get left behind! (laughs)” (Nakajima)

“Last year, we participated in SUMMARY, but this year, other than dancing and singing, I want to challenge in butai (stage play)” (Chinen)

“Definitely an all-country tour, maybe? Not going to a few places around Japan, but going all around it, and maybe even going to Asia, or maybe going overseas!” (Morimoto)

“We did a lot of group activities last year. So this year, I want us to work more independently. I want to do an academic (TN: like Scrap Teacher) drama, or a quiz game show!” (Okamoto)

“To sell an album! We should gather all of Hey! Say! JUMP's songs, and I want all different types of people to know about us.” (Arioka)

“I was allowed to experience a lot of things last year, but it wasn't enough. So this year, I want to do better than last year. Anyway, we have to move forward.” (Takaki)

“ On our last tour, we went to Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, and it was really fun, but this year, I want to go to other cities. I want to meet a lot of people at a lot of different places. “ (Inoo)

“Taking things I learned last year, I want to work harder and learn much more. Maybe even building our very own stage with all our members.” (Yaotome)

“I want to do an all-country tour! We went to Osaka, Nagoya, and Yokohama, but I want to go to a lot more different places. Maybe Hokkaido, or Fukoka, or other places.” (Yabu)



Hey! Say!7

Yamada, Nakajima, Chinen, Morimoto, and Okamoto are the members. What do you want to do as “7”?

“I want to climb Mt. Fuji with all 5 of us! I haven't climbed it before.” (Yamada)

“I want to go to an amusement park with all 5 of us! In my last drama, there was an amusement park nearby, and it sounded really fun.” (Nakajima)

“Maybe just the 7's concert. It'll probably happen far off into the future ,but if we were able to do it, it'll be fun.” (Chinen)

“A private vacation with 7! We could eat all different types of food, but choosing the destination and coming up with what we'll do, we'll all have different opinions and it'll never happen(laughs)” (Morimoto)

“maybe a TV show with just 7? Not just individually but everybody's TV show will be good.” (Okamoto)



Hey! Say! BEST

Arioka, Takaki, Inoo, Yaotome, and Yabu are the 5 members. What do you want to do as “BEST”?

“A drama. The message could be anything, but maybe a storyline like something that Arashi, “Pikanchi”'s?” (Arioka)

“Since we're older than 7, maybe doing a midnight TV variety show on our own.” (Takaki)

“I want to do a radio station. I heard 7's, and I thought it was really good.” (Inoo)

“I want to go on a vacation with the all 5 of us. But what we would want to eat, whether an onsen (TN: A 'public' bathhouse) would be good, it'll all be grandpa-ish opinions (laughs)” (Yaotome)

“Maybe a concert with just “BEST”! We would think of our own ideas for our own concert.” (Yabu)



Inoo Kei

1990 June 22nd,Birth Saitama-ken, Type A Blood. What do you want us to know?

“Lately, I've been hanging out with my middle school/intermediate school friends. Before, we went bowling for a change, and I got two strikes in a row! But after that, I played horribly (laughs)” (Inoo)



Juggling

“I had no idea how I'd throw, or how fast I should go, and I kept on dropping them. But I began to get the hang of it, and it was like a circus, it was really fun. (Nakajima)



Karaoke

When you go to karaoke, do you sing your own songs? What song do you often sing?

“I never sing our songs. I've heard my friends sing JUMP songs. My friends beg me to sing, but my answer is always, “No!” in a gentle manner of course (laughs). I sing Kinki Kid's songs often.” (Yabu)

"Chinen-kun, let's go fish bonito together next time!"

Since his Jr. period, Hey!Say!JUMP's Chinen Yuuri has been saying, "The sempai I admire is Ohno-kun!", so Ohno answers that passionate love call, and made their first conversation a reality! From memorable moments, to talks of future collaborations, please look forward to a special, cute and heartwarming conversation!

[Ohno-kun, I like you lots!]

"You've gotten cuter than before"

Chinen: Because I can meet Ohno-kun today, I'm more nervous than the time I sang at last year's "FNS Song Festival". My heart is really beating fast.
Ohno: I was thinking of tickling you when I meet you today (laughs).
Chinen: If you did that to me, I'll get even more nervous (laughs).
Ohno: To make this conversation more intimate, I thought I'd call you Yuuri. In exchange, call me Satoshi (laughs)!
Chinen: Eh, ehh! (speechless). Th, that's... please let me call you Ohno-kun.
Ohno: Our first meeting was at Arashi's Nagoya concert, right?
Chinen: When I was a 4th grader, I visited your dressing room with my parents.
Ohno: You were really cute that time. Meeting you after some time has passed, your face has gotten cuter too.
Chinen: .... (turns red). Truly, truly, thank you very much. That's like Arashi's song though (laughs).
Ohno: You came to Arashi's Yokohama Arena performance last year too, right?
Chinen: I caught the signed board that Ohno-kun threw for me. It's my treasure so, I've put it up properly!
Ohno: I get the feeling we spoke to each other for the first time, when I asked "Did you come from Shizuoka?" in the dressing room that time.
Chinen: That's right, that's right. And, I answered, I'm in Tokyo now, and I was told, "You were really small in the past, huh."
Ohno: Right, right (laughs). But, Chinen-kun is very level-headed. By the way, what grade are you in now?
Chinen: I'm a 3rd year in middle school now. It feels like my age is quickly piling on but, my height isn't catching up (laughs). I want to hurry up and grow up to about Ohno-kun's.
Ohno: Are you perhaps born in the year '93? You were born in the year before I entered the Jimusho, huh.
Chinen: Ohno-kun, you know a lot.
Ohno: I see you often in magazines and such. Your birthday is close to mine too, right.
Chinen: Yes! It's in the same month of November, with a difference of 4 days. It feels like some sort of destined fate (laughs).

"With me and Yama-chan, let's fish with the 3 of us"

Ohno: So, this is sudden but it's time for questions from me. What's your favourite food?
Chinen: The gyoza that my mom makes for me. They're delicious.
Ohno: I like ramen. When I do plays, I eat udon that's good for digestion though.
Chinen: I like miso ramen too. I love udon too.
Ohno: What's your hobby?
Chinen: Acrobatics. I do somersaults, and I'd want to copy any amazing techniques that someone does. Ohno-kun's hobbies are drawing and figure creations, and fishing, right!
Ohno: I'm thinking about fishing all the time now (laughs). Speaking of which, JUMP's Yamada-kun likes fishing, doesn't he?
Chinen: That's right. That's why after Yama-chan teaches me how to fish, I think it'd be great if Ohno-kun will take me with him (laughs).

[Chinen-kun's turns are amazing!]

Chinen: Because I'll get nervous if it's just me and Ohno-kun, it'll be good if it's 3 people at first.
Ohno: If it's fishing, that's OK. But don't fall into the ocean! (laughs)
Chinen: No, I might fall (laughs). If I fall, I'll grab onto Ohno-kun's fishing rod and return.
Ohno: I'll protect you with a life net connected to a cord round my waist, so you'll be okay.
Chinen: In that case, we'll both fall (laughs).
Ohno: When summer comes, it must be fun to fish mahi-mahi and bonito.
Chinen: Bonito? Can we catch such big ones?
Ohno: Chinen-kun actually looks like he might catch it (laughs). It'll be great to have a meal together too.
Chinen: It'll be great to eat the fish that Ohno-kun catches too. Yama-chan is good at cooking too so, maybe he'll gut the fish for us.
Ohno: Yamada-kun again (laughs).
Chinen: Because I'll be really nervous, for the first few times... I'm sorry.

"I'm happy that you admire me but"

Ohno: By the way, it looks like you admire me but... why?
Chinen: Because you're good at dancing and singing. Ever since Arashi had their debut, I've admired you the who~le time. I have Arashi's debut CD, and I love the solo song "Top Secret" that Ohno-kun sang at concerts.
Ohno: I'm really happy about that but... there are a lot of people who are much better than me. But, Chinen-kun's turns are really amazing. I watched you from the audience seats during the Arashi concert rehearsals and, I wondered, "How many times does he turn?"
Chinen: I have confidence in turns! The most number of times I've turned is 9. I was praised by TOKIO's Matsuoka-kun too.

"A collaboration on stage sounds fun too"

Ohno: If we're going to perform together for work, what kind of things would you want to try?
Chinen: I want to appear in "Arashi no Shukudaikun" too. Before, I watched the members of Arashi say, "Isn't Hey!Say!JUMP in the box that guests jump out of?" so, I really do want to be inside that once (laughs).
Ohno: We've never actually worked together before, huh. If we were to perform together... I think a stage play will be good. For example, under the setting of a journey or something. Then we'll get lost in a weird place, and fall into a hole. From there, it'll be a two-person act in the hole for the entire play.
Chinen: Did you just think of that? Amazing! That sounds fun! But, I've only experienced a stage play once, so I'm a little worried. But, if the day I can perform together with Ohno-kun comes, I'll do my best!
Ohno: Chinen-kun is already working hard now. That's why, both of us should relax occasionally.
Chinen: Last of all, I have a favour to ask... Ohno-kun, please make a figure of me! And, please take me to go fishing too!
Ohno: Okay. Well, look forward to it (laughs).
